Shrewsbury Road Runners

Our history

In 2003 an informal running group was started by two very experienced and qualified endurance coaches, christine evans and Martin Brayne.

During the next two years more members and additional coaches joined this group and in the autumn of 2005 a meeting was held to create a more formal club.

On the 1st january 2006 we became the shrewsbury road runners. Since that time the club has continued to attract new members and we now have approximately 80 members.

Club philosophy

The Shrewsbury road runners club offers support and encouragement within friendly training sessions to all runners regardless of their ability and/or experience.
